Subject: Heartfelt Gratitude for the Educational Field Trip – “One Trip, A Lifetime Lesson”
<
Respected Madam/Sir,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of health and spirits.
I write to you as a grateful parent to express my deepest appreciation to you, the devoted teaching staff, and the entire team at New Bombay City School (CBSE) for organizing such a thoughtful and meaningful educational field trip for the students on 26th July 2025.
The trip — which included visits to a Gurudwara, Church, Mosque, and Temple in Vashi — was not just enriching but truly transformative, especially for my daughter Veerali Vikram Pimprikar, a Grade 1 student. The moment she read the note in her school diary, our home was filled with excitement, curiosity, and anticipation.
Veerali’s joy, innocence, and eagerness were heart-warming. She carefully packed her bag with sandwiches, fruits, a raincoat — and a heart full of wonder. As a mother, I naturally had my monsoon worries — What if she gets wet? Will she fall sick? Will she be well looked after? But those concerns were soon overshadowed by my trust in the care and planning your school consistently provides.
When Veerali returned, her eyes sparkled with experiences that went beyond her young years. She shared how:
At the Church, she saw a statue of Jesus Christ and learned about love and forgiveness.
In the Gurudwara, she sat in the langar and understood the value of equality.
At the Mosque, the Maulana spoke gently about peace and humility, explaining the meaning of Islam through the word Bismillah.
At the Krishna Temple, she sang bhajans, received prasad, and felt a deep sense of serenity.
Later that evening, she asked me:
> “Mom… Everyone prays in different ways, but all Gods talk about love.
So… are all Gods the same?”
That innocent question touched something very deep within me — a moment of silent reflection and profound truth.
🪷 A Short Poem – Inspired by Her Journey
Drizzles of rain, the journey began,
Tiny feet stepping into life’s grand plan…
Names may differ, rituals too,
But love is the prayer that shines through.
Gurudwara, Church, Mosque, Temple — all align,
Mercy, forgiveness, compassion — truly divine.
What bloomed today in that young mind,
Will light the world — human, kind, and refined.
I’d also like to share a timeless verse that echoes the spirit of this initiative:
> “Ekam said viprā bahudhā vadanti”
(Rigveda 1.164.46)
“Truth is one; the wise speak of it in many ways.”
---
This wasn’t just a school field trip — it was a journey of spiritual, cultural, and human understanding. It gently planted seeds of communal harmony, tolerance, and universal love in my daughter’s tender heart.
Thank you once again for this uplifting initiative. As a parent and as a citizen, I feel truly proud and reassured knowing that my child is growing up in an institution that not only educates — but enlightens, nurtures, and shapes the future of our world.
With warm regards and heartfelt thanks,
Teachers are also very nice to students. They not only teach what is there in books but also share extra knowledge to students. Students understand more better by their way of teaching. Especially our honourable Principal of the School, she is really very supportive and always stands by her students. Many circular activities are also held, like Scout and Guide Camps, Annual Functions, Sports Day, Educational Trips for Students, Activities related to our culture and religion etc.
Atlast, I would like to say a best school ever made for each and every student of our nation. Very beautiful school
